Portland Community College is looking for a full time Manager of Library
Technical Services.  This is a full time, exempt Management position. The
job closes June 4, 2007.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Library Science from an
institution accredited by the American Library Association.  Four years of
library work experience post degree, two years, which must have been in a
lead or supervisory role. Aforementioned experience must include significant
work in an automated environment and some experience in each of the major
areas of technical services: acquisitions, cataloging, and serials. Budget
management experience required. Proficient in use of library related
technologies enough to be able to judge value for library and to make
judgments as to potential problems with maintenance and operations.
