I know, you are all saying what ever happened to those millions of posts
from Diedre. Well, libs-0r will no longer let me post from my
charter.netaccount so I had to decide on another approach. I still
don't have it all
worked out yet since it really requires changing most of my mail to make it
again semi-convenient to pass along these bits and pieces about legislative
issues on to you. Oh well, that is life in the wild world of the Internet.
So, below is a bill that I think may be of interest to all of us that
provide free wi-fi at our libraries. It is part of a discussion from

Though the ALA Washington Office does not seem to have more detailed
information on how this will affect libraries we can go to their site at
see more about the bill and use the site to send a message to
Representatives and Senators.
