[Libs-Or] Northwest ILL Conference Reminder

Don't forget to register for the Northwest Interlibrary Loan and Resource
Sharing Conference, "ILL 2.0: tools to meet the demands," being held at
Portland Community College - Sylvania Campus in Portland, Oregon, September
20-21, 2007. 

It might seem early to start planning for fall events, but September is
right around the corner! The NW-ILL conference has lots of interesting and
innovative programs to get your fall off to a productive start.

If you haven't already made your hotel arrangements, consider staying in
exciting downtown Portland at University Place. Call their reservation line
at 503-221-0140 and mention the NWILL Conference name and the discounted
rate of $79 when reserving a room. Since the hotel is downtown, parking is
$8 day or $12 overnight. However, public transportation to the PCC Sylvania
campus is available, using TriMet bus #44 Capitol Hwy to PCC Sylvania.

Registration prices are low now, but will increase after September 1, 2007: 

Single Day - registration before 9/1/07 -- $55.00, after 9/1/07, $65.00
Both Days - registration before 9/1/07 -- $85.00, after 9/1/07, $110.00

 

Our exciting program will include a keynote speech by Joseph Janes,
Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Academics at the Information
School of the University of Washington and author of the ALA Newsletter's
"Internet Librarian" column.
