Stayton, Oregon (pop.7765) is a vibrant community in a picturesque rural setting, but only 15 min. from the Salem metro area. Required qualifications: Equivalent to completion of an ALA accredited Master's of Library Science program and over four years professional experience including a direct working relationship with a library board. Willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
The position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, starting range $4306 to $5825/mo. DOQ plus a comprehensive benefit package, after six mos. retirement eligible.

Duties include administering the volunteer program for the Forest Grove City Library, including recruiting, training, placing and evaluating volunteers in support of library programs and services.
Qualifications: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college level course work, plus experience demonstrating proficiency in managing projects and coordinating programs, including responsibility for supervision of staff and/or volunteers required. Experience as a volunteer coordinator preferred.
Hours: This position is normally scheduled to work 10 hours per week. May require some evening and weekend work.
