Are you ready to put your new master’s degree in library science to work? Then this may be the opportunity you are
looking for. The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District is currently recruiting for on-call reference librarians for
its substitute pool. This is an entry level opportunity for individuals who have received their MLS in the past 18
months or will receive it within the next six months (documentation will be required). The successful candidate will
provide reference, information and reader’s advisory service to patrons of all ages; participate in the development and
updating of electronic information content and the use of digital tools for communication and information sharing.
Recent library work experience in a clerical or technical position or completion of a library internship or practicum
preferred. Must pass Washington State Criminal Records check; $18.48/hour.
