Chemeketa Community College is seeking a Director for the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS). The Director Plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the activities and staff of CCRLS. CCRLS works with public libraries in the College's 3 county district of Polk, Marion, and Yamhill to provide library automation, courier, governance and other services. The director oversees the staff providing those services, manages budgets, plans technology and serves as a liaison to the college administration and other organizations. Minimum qualifications are Bachelors Degree and two years of management and communication experience, and three years of library automation experience. Preferred qualifications include Master's degree from an accredited institution in Library Information Science, knowledge of Wide Area Networking technology and systems, Unix and Windows operating system experience, and experience with Innovative Interfaces Library Automation systems. Public Access Services Manager

The Manager of Public Access Services is an unclassified, unranked, excluded, fixed-term position reporting to the Assistant University Librarian for Public Services at the Portland State University Library. The Manager of Public Access Services provides leadership and management of Public Access Services (PAS) activities and staff in circulation, resource sharing operations (Summit and interlibrary loan), reserves, off-site facilities operations, stacks maintenance, media services, photocopy operations, and van service between library locations. 
Required Qualifications:
o Master's degree, or bachelor's degree and significant Library Access Services supervisory experience
o Four years of library experience
o Strong service orientation
o Record of successful supervisory experience
o Evidence of excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
o Demonstrated ability to complete projects
o Transcripts and background checks will be required for finalists. Must be able to successfully complete a background check. 
Compensation 
The starting annual salary range for this position will be between $55,000-$60,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience, with an excellent benefits package including fully paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependant at any of the Oregon University System schools. Stayton, Oregon (pop.7765) is a vibrant community in a picturesque rural setting, but only 15 min. from the Salem metro area. Within easy driving distance of both the Cascade Mountains and Pacific beaches. The position reports directly to the City Administrator and exercises supervison over 5 FTE support staff positions.
Required qualifications: Equivalent to completion of an ALA accredited Master's of Library Science program and over four years professional experience including a direct working relationship with a library board. Willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
The position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, starting range $4306 to $5825/mo. DOQ plus a comprehensive benefit package, after six mos. retirement eligible.
