Ticket sales support the library's outreach to local schools, providing
books, transportation, lecture tickets and a chance to meet the author
to hundreds of students from schools that normally could not afford an
author visit. This year's beneficiaries are students at Grout
Elementary.
The Children's Author Lecture is made possible in part by The Library
Foundation with support from McCormick and Schmick's and Riverdale
