General Information:
*

The Coastal Resource Sharing Network (CRSN) is a consortium of six public
libraries, two community colleges and one library district in Lincoln and
Tillamook Counties, sharing a library catalog and circulation system. All
libraries are independent. They do not share the same governing body or
library management. Member libraries are connected through collaborative
intergovernmental agreements.


*General Purpose of the Systems Administrator: *

The Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation,
integration, daily operation, maintenance and security of the Consortium’s
automation and communication systems. These include, but are not limited to:
SirsiDynix Symphony/Unicorn ILS, LANS, Web Servers, Internet Access,
Telecommunications and other evolving systems. The Systems Administrator
also advises the CRSN Governing Board about future hardware and software
needs. The Systems Administrator must document procedures, train staff and
share Sirsi communications with relevant staff at participating libraries.

*Supervision*:
The Systems Manager works under the direct supervision of the Tillamook
Library Director and is ultimately responsible to the Coastal Resource
Sharing Network Board. CRSN uses the Lincoln County Library District’s
(LCLD) personnel policy.
