The City of West Linn seeks a proven administrator to lead a vibrant and vital part of life in West Linn - The Public Library. Serving as a member of the City's management team and reporting directly to the City Manager, the Library Director is responsible for overall supervision of library services; strategic planning; preparation and management of a $1.8 million library budget; direction and leadership of 17.6 FTE; overseeing West Linn's participation and involvement in the Clackamas County Library District as well as representing the library to the citizens of West Linn and to Clackamas County.
The successful candidate will have an MLS and four years of post MLS public library experience, with a minimum three years of progressively responsible library administrative experience. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills to inspire and motivate. Requires demonstratable commitment to a teamwork approach to management and continuing the development of community partnerships. This position requires high energy, a sense of humor and the ability to consider innovative approaches and build consensus on difficult issues. Position Description: The Information Literacy Coordinator provides leadership for the Self Enhancement Multicultural Library by building literacy skills and administering library policies and services. This position is responsible for developing multicultural programs that foster a love for reading while ensuring that the library is the "hub" of literacy at the academy. This position reports to the Principal of the SEI Academy. This is a part-time position, hours 11 AM - 5:30 PM. 
* Plan, develop and implement library policies and services * Plan the evaluation and selection reference materials and books * Provide reference services for elementary through high school students, parents and staff * Plan and develop multicultural literary programs including, but not limited to the, African-American history and tradition * Develop and implement process for the acquisition, organization, maintenance, retrieval, and inventory of library materials and equipment * Work cooperatively with the SEI administration and public resources in selecting, ordering and maintaining a variety of appropriate instructional materials and equipment *
Form positive relationships with students * Write weekly lesson plans for library skills instruction * Implement The Big 6 Library Skills Model * Manage the classroom to enable to effective classroom instruction * High school or equivalent required. * At least 2 years of professional library experience. * Experience working in an education environment highly desired.

Position Description: The Wilsonville Public Library is seeking an outgoing, service-oriented Children's Reference Librarian. The position is part time (approximately 30 hours per week). The Children's Reference Librarian performs direct public service to the community, including reference and reader's advisory assistance and collection development in assigned areas, and will also perform and coordinate selected children's programming.
