Each December the Oregon State Library Board of Trustees elects members to their advisory councils; Talking Book and Braille Service (TBABS)

and Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). There are three vacancies on the TBABS Advisory Council and five vacancies on the LSTA Advisory Council.

The Board of Trustee's bylaws indicate "the State Librarian shall suggest nominees, but nominees may also apply in writing directly to the Board Chair." Following

this message is a list of the nominees that the State Librarian has suggested that will be going to the Board for a December 10th vote. If you have someone else you want to nominate you must contact the Chair of the Board, Sue Burkholder, via e-mail at: sueburkholder at comcast.net<http://listsmart.osl.state.or.us/mailman/listinfo/libs-or> prior to the December 10, 2010 Board meeting.
