Dear Colleagues: LYRASIS is sponsoring some informal webinars for librarians in the western states formerly served by BCR. I hope many of you will participate in order to learn more about LYRASIS and their services. The State Library is paying for all Oregon libraries to be LYRASIS members through June 30, 2011.

The first webinar is coming up this Thursday.  Here’s some information about it ...

Transition Talks

Join LYRASIS staff for these informal webinars designed to keep you informed and up-to-date about the BCR and LYRASIS Partners in Transition plan.  Transition Talks will be an ongoing series, and we hope to hear your questions, thoughts and feedback, as well as pass along the tools you need to maximize the benefits of your new LYRASIS membership.

The first in the series of Transition Talks will be focused on First Steps, and will include:
•        Overview of the BCR to LYRASIS transition process

•        Introduction to LYRASIS

o  Products, Services and Support

o  Membership

•        Q & A

The webinar will be hosted by Regan Harper, LYRASIS Regional Director – West, as well as Meryl Cinnamon, LYRASIS Manager of Membership Services, and Amie Sabourin, LYRASIS Manager of Member Support.
