District Dispatch has posted a new item, 'Huffington Post piece highlights
Library Adovcacy Day Rally'

Carol Fitzgerald, co-Founder and President of TheBookReportNetwork.com and a
supporter of the ALA’s upcoming Library Advocacy Day, has written an article
for the Huffington Post titled “Libraries and Librarians Are Endangered
Species: What You Can Do to Help” about the impact of funding cuts to
libraries and the need to advocate for them (http://huff.to/cs9CuU).

The Library Advocacy Day rally will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Upper
Senate Park on Capitol Hill. To register or learn more about this event,
don’t miss the Washington Office break-out session, “Library Advocacy Day:
What to Know Before You Go,” Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in WCC, Room 103B.
