FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


The Oregon State Library Board of Trustees will meet at the Lebanon Public Library on Friday, December 10, 2010. Sue Burkholder of Eugene will chair the meeting, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. 

In their business meeting, the Board will hear an appeal of a staff decision to deny a Ready to Read Grant; they will determine whether to seek partial support payments for L-net in 2011-12, and they will elect new members to Board Advisory Councils. The Board will also hear a request from Hood River County for assistance in planning for their new library district, and will consider changes to the Board bylaws.

Sign language interpretation will be provided for the public if requested prior to 48 hours before the meeting; notice prior to 72 hours before the meeting is preferred.  Handouts of meeting materials may also be requested in alternate formats prior to 72 hours before the meeting.  Requests may be made to Ferol Weyand at 503/378-2464.
