Youth Services Librarian

The Battle Ground Community Library, a branch of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District, is looking for a Youth Service Librarian.  If you are a qualified, creative, enthusiastic and innovative individual looking for a chance to use your ideas in providing library service to youth, ranging from newborns to teens the new Youth Services Librarian position may be the job for you!  

Requires a MLS/MLIS from an ALA accredited program and 4 years of increasingly responsible professional library experience, with at least two years experience after the receipt of MLS degree.  Supervisory experience, experience planning and implementing programs, and experience working with children and/or teens are required.   Minimum starting salary is $3,714/mo.
