The Early Literacy Specialist will work closely with the Children's Librarian to develop an outreach program to Tualatin care providers.  Salary is $20.74/hour and 118 hours are available through 12/31/2011 for this grant-funded LSTA project.  A flexible schedule will be arranged. Requirements for this position include an Early Childhood Education or MLS degree; knowledge of current children's literature; recent presentation and instructional experience in a classroom setting or public library; and computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and data management programs.
