The Technical Services Round Table is proud to present:

Fundamentals of Library of Congress Classification
August 16-17, 2011 8:30-5:00
UO Portland Campus (White Stag)

Richard Sapon-White, Head of Cataloging and Metadata Services , Oregon 
State University

A two-day workshop designed to give attendees a solid foundation in the 
principles and practices of classification using LCC, an introduction to 
the most important tools, and practice in formulating LC call numbers. 
It will be useful for those who are new to LC Classification.  The 
course will also be a useful review for experienced catalogers, 
especially those who supervise or train other catalogers.

Registration:

Cost of the two day workshop is:
Early Registration (July 1-July 30) $60
Registration (August 1-August 16) $80
This includes the workshop manual (lunch is on your own, a list of 
nearby places will be provided with registration confirmation)
