[Libs-Or] Book discussion offer

Some months ago, Canby Library Director Penny Hummel offered some books to us which remained from a "Let's talk about it" series program. We took her up on it, but the books have been sitting ever since and we've not gotten around to doing our own program. Hence, if someone else would like these materials to use for a program, please let me know and we'll see if we can get them to you via courier, homing pigeons, or other mode of transportation.

We just completed a 'Let's Talk About it" series on railroads (http://www.programminglibrarian.org/picturingamerica/let%E2%80%99s-talk-about-it-picturing-america%E2%80%94making-tracks) and are now left with 10 extra copies of the three titles they provided:  Housekeeping, Rising from the Rails, and Nothing Like it in the World.  Would you like them to do your own Let's talk about it" series?   Let me know and I'll send them over.  They are in really nice condition and free is a good price!  And, we used two CCC professors who did a great job and already know the material.
