Applications are now open for the 2011 Judith Krug Fund 
<http://www.ftrf.org/krugfund> Banned Books Week event grants, sponsored 
by the Freedom to Read Foundation <http://www.ftrf.org/>. Four grants in 
the amount of $2,500 and $1,000 grants will be given to organizations in 
support of “Read-Outs” or other activities that celebrate Banned Books 
Week <http://www.ala.org/bbooks> (Sept. 24 – Oct. 1, 2011).

Applications for the grants will be accepted through May 13, 2011, and 
the announcements will be made the week of Aug. 1, 2011. Banned Books 
Week 2011 will be held Sept. 24-Oct. 1, 2011.
