 Alas, after 36 years of service at Coos Bay Public Library, our 
 fearless leader Carol Ventgen has retired.  There will be an open house 
 reception on Wednesday, Dec. 7th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in CBPL's 
 Myrtlewood Room.  Anyone who would like to join us for this send-off is 
 welcome. We have been fortunate to have such a consummate professional 
 in our Oregon library world!  I hope you will join us.
