Onsite conference registration will be available April 25th, 7:30am-7:00pm; April 26th, 7:00am-7:00pm; and April 27th 7:00am-12:30pm at the conference registration table located in the Riverhouse Convention Center's lobby.

A pdf version of the printed program is now available on the conference website.  Printed programs will be available when you pick up your conference badge at the registration table.

12 Tips for a Rewarding Conference!

*         Bring plenty of business cards to exchange and take advantage of networking opportunities with your library colleagues at the conference.

*         Wear those comfortable shoes at the conference because you'll be doing plenty of walking!

*         Take the time to visit the exhibit hall and visit with the vendors.  Lots to see and explore at the exhibits!

*         Don't forget to bring a bag or backpack to store all those treasures you will be collecting at the conference.

*         Snacks will be offered during the conference at the breaks.  But you may also want to pack your own water and snacks just in case you get a wee bit peckish.

*         Dress in layers so you can adjust for temperature variations in the meeting rooms.  Remember you may be walking outside between buildings at the Riverhouse Convention Center so wear clothing and shoes appropriate for outdoor weather.

Please note that conference registration is located at the Convention Center and hotel registration is located at the Hotel Lobby.

*         Don't drive to Downtown Bend from the Riverhouse Convention Center for night out on the town-hop on board the Shuttle.  The shuttle will run Wednesday and Thursday nights of the conference from 5:00-10:00pm between the Riverhouse Convention Center and Downtown Bend.

*         Let the Conference Planning Committee know what you thought of the 2012 Conference and complete the online evaluation after the conference at http://tinyurl.com/ola2012eval

*         Volunteers will be on hand at the conference registration desk and throughout the Convention Center to help you locate a session or a good place to eat.

*         Take advantage of visiting the sites in Central Oregon.  Check out Visit Bend http://www.visitbend.com for activities to pursue while you are here. Don't forget to use your High Desert Museum voucher for being a conference attendee and receive a 20% discount on admission to the High Desert Museum April 25-28, 2012.  The Downtown Bend Association has coordinated a "flash your badge" program with participating downtown shops and restaurants.  Look for the blue signs at downtown businesses where you can flash your conference badge for a deal only available to conference participants.
