Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers has just released their list of annual honors and awards<http://www.wordcraftcircle.org/honors>. This list may be a good tool for developing a collection of culturally appropriate Native American materials. In addition to the typical awards like best fiction, non-fiction, and children's books, you will also find best album, best film, best publisher, and best blogger!
Some of these items may be difficult to find. Therefore, in most cases, Wordcraft has provided links to where you can purchase them. Here is the link: http://www.wordcraftcircle.org/honors
Enjoy,
Katie
