$500,000-750,000 in funding for School Libraries in Grant Money This Week

In the next coming days, the Department of Education will announce the
school library grant program under the Innovative Approaches to Literacy
Program. Grant applicants can request anywhere from $500,000 to $750,000 in
funding.

Please note: All interested parties must be registered for federal
grants<http://www.grants.gov/>in advance to apply for program grants.
Applicants will have up to 30 days
to apply for the grants application.

The ALA Washington Office will send an email with a link to the
announcement to all Dispatch subscribers
<http://capwiz.com/ala/mlm/signup/>as soon as the Department of
Education and the
*Federal Register *publicly announce the program deadline.
