[Libs-Or] foreign language learning audio

our collection of foreign-language learning materials is old and tired (we still have a few battered cassettes).

we are aware of the current popular online language resources: BBC, FSI, MOCHA, MANGO, etc.

I would like to provide additional circulating materials for those patrons without computer access.  ideally, i would like to strengthen this area of our collection without having to pay "rosetta stone" prices.

can anyone recommend a bare-bones bibliography, a small rural library catalog, or any educational materials that could help speed this process?

are there any companies whose products are exceptionally useful and durable?

i would also appreciate information from audio language buyers on which companies/products to avoid.

i'm open to any and all suggestions.

thanks.
