This LYRASIS Member Showcase will feature staff from Snowden Library at Lycoming College who will discuss their unique approach to digitizing the core elements of Lycoming College's history while facing the challenges of a small staff and limited resources. In their presentation Archives: Small Staff, Little Money, Big Results, Janet McNeil Hurlbert (Associate Dean and Director of Library Services) and Susan K. Beidler (Head of Collection Management and Systems) will share their experiences with a collaborative grant-funded community project to develop the Lycoming County Women's Digital History Collection. Hidden collections now see the light and are accessible to many different users at times that meet their schedules. Join the presenters to learn more about creative funding and staffing, hear about the resources in the Women's History Collection, and see some great images from the past.
