[Libs-Or] foundation software

NTEN published this in 2009, when I evaluated donation software for a
client. Perhaps it was updated. They also had a similar publication focused
specifically on reviews of software.

If you haven't already looked into, TechSoup for Libraries probably has this
or similar software available at a discount for registered organizations.

We use Salesforce.com (http://www.salesforce.com/solutions/nonprofit/), and
it is amazing. We were fortunate to have one of their ex-developers move
into town. She got us hooked up with some sort of charitable program they
have where nonprofits under a certain size can use it for free. It not only
tracks the things that you want but also allows for individualizing
communications and tracking interactions with donors in all sorts of other
ways.
