To Oregon Libraries:
There is still time to participate in Money Smart Week @ your library this year, April 20-27. Five hundred libraries across the country are already signed up.
Money Smart Week® is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. This is achieved through the collaboration and coordinated effort of hundreds of organizations across the country including businesses, financial institutions, schools, libraries, not-for-profits, government agencies and the mediawill be providing programming. ALA has become a partner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to make this a national initiative.
Libraries need to only do one program during the week to be a partner. We encourage libraries to start small, with one or two programs your first year. ALA and the Federal Reserve Bank have provided lots of information and resources that can help you participate, including program ideas, downloadable logos and more…
