The California Historical Records Advisory Board is offering a free, two-part webinar on Digital Imaging for Historical Records on July 10th and July 12th, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Pacific daylight time both days. Taught by experienced instructors, this basic webinar will provide information about:

*         Program planning
*         Document profile attributes
*         Document preparation
*         Standards and best practices
*         Selecting imaging hardware and software
*         Imaging workflow
*         Working with vendors
*         Scanning textual documents, photographs, maps and drawings, and bound volumes
*         Providing access to digital images
