The Director of Library Services acts as the Oregon College of Art and Craft (OCAC) librarian, with responsibility for both book and visual resources collection (VRC). The Director provides strong leadership and vision in developing and implementing library resources and services that strongly support the current and future informational needs on the campus and for the community; provides strategic leadership in all functions of the Library in support of the College's mission and serves as its primary advocate; is responsible, in collaboration with College leadership and library staff, for developing and administering the budgets, policies and procedures pertaining to library services and resources. This full time, salaried, exempt position reports to the academic dean and is a critical component of the OCAC academic community. In addition the Director serves the larger Portland area as a member of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS). This position requires an awareness of current trends in librarianship, visual resources and digital imaging.

Oregon State University Libraries & Press (OSUL&P) invites applications for the position of Student Engagement & Community Outreach Librarian, a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We are looking for an energetic, forward-thinking colleague interested in developing and implementing programs and initiatives aimed at improving undergraduate student success at the university. Strong interpersonal skills are essential: the successful candidate will be a strong advocate for underserved student populations. Working independently and collaboratively with OSUL&P colleagues, the Student Engagement & Community Outreach Librarian will work directly with student groups, and will seek out and build relationships with student-centered units and programs across campus, especially those supporting traditionally underserved populations. He or she will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in the Teaching and Engagement department to support the Libraries' instruction program and to develop innovative new teaching initiatives. This is a tenure-track position. The successful candidate will actively participate in research, contribute to the university's teaching mission, and engage in professional service. Oregon State University Libraries & Press in Corvallis Oregon seeks a collaborative, innovative and service-oriented Librarian to develop and maintain the technical infrastructure for OSU's digital library /repository/preservation services. In support of the OSU research enterprise, excellence in teaching, and the Land Grant mission of the University, the Librarian is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying new technologies, tools, and resources to extend and enhance digital content and services, and developing application programming interfaces (APIs) to facilitate multiple submission and discovery tools. The Librarian will: provide leadership and guidance for the Libraries on existing and emerging technologies including digital repository, discovery and preservation systems; write and/or modify code and conduct quality assurance on code contributed by other developers; work collaboratively with library and campus colleagues as well as various external partners such as the Orbis Cascade Alliance and Greater Western Library Alliance; participate in ongoing evaluations of emerging academic and library technologies.
