Good morning!

The OLA Resource Sharing Program is sponsoring a session at the OLA/WLA Conference to discuss the new Oregon Library Passport Program. http://librariesoforegon.org/passport
We are hoping to bring together staff from participating libraries and staff from non-participating libraries to discuss program successes to date and encourage more libraries to join the program. As of today there are 93 participating libraries, of all sizes and types, that have signed on to give their patrons free access to libraries across the state. That is a great start, but the benefits to Oregon library users only increase with more participants.
We know there are libraries that are fence-sitting and have concerns about how the program might work, if it will overwhelm staff, or might be difficult to explain to local decision-makers. We want to answer your questions and give you all the information you need to feel comfortable adding your library to the list. Please join us for the conference session on Thursday, April 25th from 4 - 5:15pm in the Vancouver Hilton.
See you then!
