Here is a great tip for identifying a part of your collection that you may not have thought of as accessible:

Talking Book and Braille Services at the Oregon State Library is well-known for great audio and Braille collections. Did you know that we also have Descriptive Videos? These are VHS and DVD movies with an audio track that describes the action of the movie for people with vision impairments.

BUT WAIT! Did you know that many of the DVD collections in your libraries probably have descriptive audio tracks available as well? To find out if a DVD has audio description:

1. Look at the back of your DVD,

2. Find the area for Languages or Audio

3. Look for the words English DVS or English 2.0 DVS

4. Access this features in the Setup menu on the DVD
