[Libs-Or] Training in mending library materials?

My volunteer coordinator has asked me about locating training or bringing a trainer to the library to train some of our volunteers in mending techniques. I think this is a great idea, but I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to locate such training. Have any of you recently made use of similar training?
