*USGS Maps*
Apparently complete sets of 1:24,000 scale 7.5 minute maps of other US
states west of the Continental divide, many with folding indexes:
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Hawaii
- Idaho
- Montana
- Nevada
- New Mexico
- Utah
- Wyoming
- Guam
- Puerto Rico
- U.S. Virgin Islands
The sets are largely in good, usable condition. Some more frequently-used
maps are worn (bent edges, repaired tears, rumpled appearance)
====
*DMA (AMS) Maps*
We have two sets from the Army Map Service (AMS), later the Defense Mapping
Agency (DMA), with some individual maps missing :
- 1301 series (scale 1:1,000,000)
- 1501 series (scale 1:250,000)
Most of these have publication dates ranging from the mid 1950s to the mid
1960s and are in serviceable condition, though some are a bit worn. It is a
large collection of maps, taking up almost 50 flat map case drawers.

*JNC Maps*
Jet Navigation Charts are long range navigation graphics specifically
designed to meet the requirements of users in high altitude (25,000 to
50,000) feet above ground level, high speed aircraft. Each chart combines
extensive area coverage with depiction of detail for navigation by radar,
celestial, dead-reckoning and pilot age. The scale is 1:2,000,000 and
1:3,000,000.
Dates ranged from around 1969 to 1995. These charts show signs of use, but
are still very serviceable and are durable enough for patron use and
photocopying. The charts are folded, and take up about 10” of space in a
filing cabinet drawer.

*ONC Maps*
Operational Navigation Charts depict obstructions, aerodromes, special use
airspace, navigational aids, Maximum Elevation figures (MEFs), and related
data. The scale is 1:1,000,000.
Dates ranged from around 1969 to 1995. These charts show signs of use, but
are still very serviceable and are durable enough for patron use and
photocopying. The charts are folded, and take up about 20” of space in a
filing cabinet drawer.
