[Libs-Or] Position Announcement: Temporary, Part-time Research & Instruction Librarian

The Aubrey R. Watzek Library at Lewis & Clark College seeks a Temporary,
Part-time Research & Instruction Librarian for the Fall semester, 2014.
This is a temporary, 30 hours per week assignment, anticipated to last from
September 2, 2014 to December 19, 2014.

The Research & Instruction Librarian assists students and faculty with
research, including providing reference service, research consultations,
and related services.  He or she teaches course-integrated classes on using
library resources for a variety of departments, courses, and programs, and
participates in library committee work and special projects.  The position
will serve as liaison to the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Economics
departments.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.  Master's degree in Library and Information Science
2.  At least one year of public services experience in an academic library
or similar organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.  Educational background or interest in Natural Sciences and/or Data
Services.
2.  At least two years of reference experience in an academic library.
3.  At least two years of library instruction experience in an academic
setting.
