Presented by Office for Information Technology Policy and PLA
On December 19 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a second E-rate Modernization order, which brings to a close the most comprehensive review and reform of the 17-year-old E-rate program. Not only did the FCC make significant changes to the program, they also approved an additional $1.5 billion to bring the total funding available up to $3.9 billion.
How will the program changes affect you and your libraries? How can you get more of the available funding? Join ALA’s Office for Information Technology Policy’s (OITP) Marijke Visser and Larra Clark, along with OITP Fellow Bob Bocher, for an in-depth discussion of the latest E-rate order. We’ll answer your questions so you are prepared to take advantage of the new opportunities.
