Pendleton Public currently is recruiting for a part-time circulation supervisor.

                                         Part-Time Library Assistant 2

                                           City of Pendleton, Oregon

The Library has an opening for a part-time Library Assistant 2. This position provides paraprofessional library services supervising the circulation functions.   Major responsibilities involve providing customer service to library patrons,  scheduling, training and providing guidance to library staff and volunteers,  and  enforcing library policies and procedures.  Requires good communication skills, computer proficiency; good organization skills, and the physical ability to stand, lift, bend and move books and materials.  Prior public service experience and the ability to speak Spanish  are desirable.   Position works 30 hours per week.  Hours will include evenings and Saturdays.  Salary $15.51 - $18.88/hr.
