The successful candidate will hold an ALA accredited MLS/MLIS with 5-7 years' supervisory experience in automation, technical services, and/or computer support. Knowledge of general building maintenance practices is also desired. They will demonstrate a desire to support the front line staff of the library, a working knowledge of current technology best practices, an ability to maintain effective working relationships with public and staff, and the capability of working independently as well as part of a team. The ability to solve problems, negotiate difficult situations and make sound decisions is also desirable. Above all, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and quality service. This is a full-time position with a generous benefit package which includes health care, four weeks' vacation and retirement package. Salary starts at $53,000, based on experience.
