[Libs-Or] ARSL Conference 2014 - Tacoma

Registration for the Association for Rural & Small Libraries annual 
conference is now open.  This year's meeting will be in Tacoma, WA, so 
folks in the Pacific Northwest have a great opportunity to check it 
out.  Below is the conference information from their conference chair:

    Kudos to the program committee who have provided 7 preconference
    opportunities,  5 fabulous keynote speakers, and 41 different
    breakout speakers. This  strong conference  has wonderful continuing
    education opportunities you won't want to miss.

    Early bird deadline ends August 5^th .  While ARSL itself will be
    offering 3 scholarships, many state libraries are offering grants to
    ARSL attendees as well.  Check with the continuing education
    coordinator at your state library to determine if your state is one
    offering help.

    ARSL has reserved a block of 390 rooms at the elegant Hotel Murano--
    and 222 have already gone so don't delay about getting your hotel
    reservation.

    As an added bonus,  fly  or drive in early or stay after the
    conference to  take advantage of all the tourist opportunities
    available in the Puget Sound area.
