[Libs-Or] The S.A.V.V.I.E.S follow up

Hi all you library people:
Post conference, I am finally getting around to some thank yous and I wanted to publicly acknowledge all the people and the projects who contributed to the first ever SAVVIES. They are:

Hillsboro Public Library: Mike Smith and Linda Lybecker
Oregon City Library: Sue Adams
Tualatin Public Library: Aimee Meuchal and the Teen Library Committee
Cedar Mill Library: peter Leonard
Deschutes Library: Liisa Sjoblom and Tim Smith
PSU Millar Library: Sarah Beasley
Newberg Public Library: Leah Griffith

I want you to know that none of these people were coerced. In all seriousness, they each have fabulous projects and library improvements worth shouting about and recognizing. I congratulate them on their projects and hard work. All of these efforts raise the profile of Oregon libraries while improving services and facilities to Oregon citizens-and that is what it is all about. Since this year's plan to display the SAVVIES didn't exactly go as planned, I created a NWCentral page to house the power point showing off each of these projects. Please go to NWCentral, search for 'OLA 2014 Conference SAVVIES' and take a few moments to look at it. Please think about submitting information about a project your library is working on for next year's SAVVIES. We'll figure out a better display system next year.

And if you still don't know what the SAVVIES are (or are trying to be), the power point says it all.
