(Full-time, $24.13 - $30.09 Hourly, plus terrific benefits)
Join a team of dedicated and creative staff providing library services to a community of about 160,000. The Eugene Library's Computer Technician is one of two first points of technical support on library-specific technologies, with primary responsibility for the library-specific public computer software, hardware, and public PC server. The Technician is involved in supporting the Polaris library system software, RFID, automated materials handling system, and a nascent Maker Space, as well as the possibility of occasional project with the City of Eugene's Information Services Dept. The award-winning Eugene Public Library is a beautiful and busy place to work. Eugene is known as a great City for the arts and outdoors; this University town is full of creative and fascinating people who love their library. Also known as a green town, a world-renowned destination for runners, and home to some of the Pacific Northwest's wonderful breweries, distilleries, and locavore culture, Eugene has a little something for everyone. An hour from the ocean, a few hours from skiing, and right on the McKenzie & Willamette Rivers, home to the international Bach Festival and numerous other artistic gatherings, we are a vibrant community in which to live and work.
Come join us!
