See below for this morning's update on the ALA election.  Shocking, isn't
it?  I understand that only about 25 percent of ALA's membership voted in
the last election.

ALA members, your vote really does count!  Voting ends this Friday at 10 PM
PDT.

Information was just shared on the ALA Council listserv concerning the
voting in the ALA election and I now share this with you. Thank you to
Peter Hepburn for providing the information from ALA.



According to Joanne Kempf at ALA, as of yesterday, election turnout was
9,824 ballots from 50,697 eligible votes. Almost 20%, but not quite
(19.38%).



If you have been meaning to vote, there is still time this week.
