My father lived near Coquille, he died a couple of years ago and I wound up with his 1988 Eagle bus, picture attached. He intended to convert it to a motor home, then got sick and didn't. The engine was rebuilt only 500 miles ago, the transmission works fine, no apparent rust. Just needs a lot of cleaning. It's now parked at Arctic Brothers in Coos Bay, Oregon.

A big old bus is a hard puppy to sell, especially since it's in Coos Bay and I'm in Colorado. I write books, my father loved books and I had the weird idea that maybe someone could convert his bus into a bookmobile. My wife and I intend to move to Oregon (probably Salem) in the next few months to be closer to our sons. It would be cool if we could go visit my father's bus every now and then, maybe check out a book.
