Dear colleagues,

We are conducting a research study about librarians’ experience with negotiating for compensation and benefits in the library hiring process. Although these topics have been explored in the broader literature on salary negotiation, there is no research specific to librarians or the library workplace.

The survey applies to all librarians, regardless of position type, who have been employed in a library of any type.

You are invited to participate in the study by answering multiple choice questions in an online survey. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary, and you may change your mind and stop at any time.

If you choose to participate in the study, we ask that you please complete the survey no later than 12/15/2015.
