[Libs-Or] physically sick people

Hi Mo!

In some ways, it's all part of working with the public... That said, we have posted flu prevention information (wash your hands, if you're sick stay home, etc.) in English and Spanish on our entry doors, as well as on the doors going into all our restrooms. We've also made cleaning the counters/door handles in high traffic areas part of our regular closing procedure, as well as adding it to the things we do when it's slow during the day.

Hi all:
Recently we have had a plethora of people who seem to be hacking up part of their lung, sneezing juicy sneezes, and generally fitting the bill of being a health hazard. All part of building up our own immune systems, right? 
 
Well, we are wondering if there is anything anyone out there is doing to encourage people with potentially contagious illness to stay home? We find it so ironic that people stay home from work or school and then come to the library…our sense of being flattered is often outweighed by our sense of ‘ooh, ick’, you know?
 
We have plenty of sanitizer in several locations. Anything else you guys do to help grow awareness around this particular topic?
