University Archivist/Library Department Chair – Tenured Faculty
Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. Invites applications for a University Archivist/Library Department Chair, full professor, tenured faculty position, 1.0 FTE. Responsible for management of university archives and leadership of faculty within the library.  ALA-accredited M.L.S. or equivalent terminal degree; formal archival training or education; demonstrated knowledge of archival theory and practice; minimum of five years of professional academic experience; experience with information technology applications in an archives or library environment, including imaging and editing technology; experience cultivating donors; supervisory and/or team management experience; professional record of scholarly, professional, and research activity that merits a tenured appointment as a full professor; excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Serves as leader among the faculty in developing strong student advising, teaching, research, public service and academic programs within the Library, and is responsible to the Dean in matters of selection, retention, tenure, promotion and work assignments of faculty.
