For attendees of the ACRL Portland conference later this month who are interested in the work of the Freedom to Read Foundation, the FTRF Portland Meet Up event will be very close to the convention center ( a little over a mile south of the Oregon Convention Center, or less than 15 minutes by public transport).
Portland meet-up with the Freedom to Read Foundation!
On Thursday, March 26, join friends of the Freedom to Read Foundation as we gather at the Lucky Lab Hawthorne Brew Pub<http://luckylab.com/hawthorne-brew-pub/> in Portland, OR from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

* LEARN about FTRF's litigation, education, and grantmaking efforts

* DISCOVER how you can get more involved in supporting the First Amendment in libraries and beyond

* CONSIDER becoming a card-carrying member of the Foundation and/or making a donation to support our work

* SOCIALIZE with other supporters of the freedom to read

*         ENJOY some eats!
 This meet-up is part of #FTRF45 - a series of events celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Freedom to Read Foundation. For more information, visit www.ftrf.org/?FTRF45<http://www.ftrf.org/?FTRF45>.
 The Freedom to Read Foundation, an affiliate of the American Library Association, is the only organization whose primary focus is the legal defense of the right of people to access information in libraries.
