Subject: [ARSL_LISTSERV] [BULK- Could Be SPAM] Range App for Libraries: Help Youth Find a Free Meal and a Safe Place This Summer

I just wanted to share this fantastic app, developed by Caravan, a division of TechSoup. This app should be of interest to all libraries, is completely free to use, and addresses the needs of at-risk youth.

Range is a free app that can be used to locate free meals for youth in the summer months. This year, they intend to add libraries to the app, since they are safe places for youth to go in the summer. Not only will they be adding libraries to the app, but they are also hoping to update all the information, including open hours. Libraries are essential community connectors, and this app can not only help libraries refer youth to free meals, but also can help other social service providers refer youth to the library.
What can you do?

  * Learn more about Range: http://techsoupforlibraries.org/blog/help-youth-find-a-free-meal-and-a-safe-place-this-summer
  *   Get Range: www.RangeApp.org<http://www.RangeApp.org/>
  * Share information about Range with your community: http://www.caravanstudios.org/#!range-share/c1yv5
  * Help spread the word about their fundraising campaign (or maybe even donate!) to raise $10,000 to add library hours to the directory: bit.ly/rangecampaign<https://connect.compumentor.org/owa/UrlBlockedError.aspx>
With your help, this app can reach more at-risk youth this summer!
