Washington County Cooperative Library Services<http://www.wccls.org/> in Hillsboro, Oregon is hiring a full-time Librarian II for E-Content. The posting closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 17th.

Here's a summary of the position:

Under the general supervision of the Collections & Adult Services Program Supervisor, the E-Content Librarian works to build a vibrant collection of e-content that is responsive to the needs of Washington County residents. The E-Content Librarian is the primary selector of titles for the collection, uses collection data and reporting skills to inform the maintenance of the collection, and liaises with Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) and member library staff, as well as e-content vendors. The E-Content Librarian attends and represents WCCLS at committee or vendor meetings and industry conferences. The E-Content Librarian also collaborates with other WCCLS and member library staff to promote patron discovery of WCCLS' e-content collection through electronic readers' advisory or other programs. The e-content collection does not include traditional research databases, and instead is a popular reading library of downloadable or streaming titles in a variety of formats.
