Hello, OLA conference attendees,

The Intellectual Freedom Committee will be having a business
meeting/gathering Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Old

<http://www.mcmenamins.com/OldStFrancisPub>*, *Smoke Room (non smoking of
course!)   We will be joined by privacy expert Alison Macrina, from the
Boston-based Library Freedom Project
<https://libraryfreedomproject.org/ourwork/staff/>.  Feel free to join the
gathering to learn more about the work of the IFC and to meet Alison.

Alison will be leading a pre-conference session *D**igital Privacy Toolkit*,
Wednesday 1 - 5 p.m., and a conference session* Bringing Digital Privacy
Education into Your Library**, *Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Visit the IFC table at the conference to learn more about Banned Books
Week, Choose Privacy Week, and other Intellectual Freedom
projects.  Alison will be available to talk with you about privacy issues
at the table also.

This year's Intellectual Freedom Champion award will be announced at the
Friday luncheon.
