[Libs-Or] Emporia's graduation ceremony - Aug. 14

The library community is cordially invited to attend the graduation ceremony for the Oregon 15 MLS cohort of Emporia State University's School of Library & Information Management (SLIM), to be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC), 1849 SW Salmon Street in Portland.  The MAC offers free parking cross the street from their entrance, and it is also easily accessible via Trimet.

The commencement speaker will be John Helmer, retired Orbis Cascade Alliance Executive Director.  Oregon State Librarian, MaryKay Dahlgreen and OLA President, Jane Corry, will also be featured speakers.
SLIM's new dean, Wooseob Jeong, will be participating, and he welcomes the opportunity to meet Oregon library staff.
