I believe that X: A Novel (which was on our slate, but which wasn’t one of our Honors) also got a Coretta Scott King Honor, which is pretty neat.

Subject: [Libs-Or] How did the OYAN Mock Printz results compare to reality?
It's always fun to see how closely the Oregon Mock Printz came to matching the actual medal winner. Good news for us, Bone Gap<http://www.amazon.com/Bone-Gap-Laura-Ruby/dp/0062317601/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452524382&sr=8-1&keywords=bone+gap+laura+ruby>, winner of the 2016 Michael L. Printz Awards Medal, was one of two Mock Printz Honor books! Even better, the 2016 OYAN MOCK Printz Medal winner, Most Dangerous: Daniel Ellsberg and the Secret History of the Vietnam War<http://www.amazon.com/Most-Dangerous-Ellsberg-History-Vietnam/dp/1596439521/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452525163&sr=8-1&keywords=most+dangerous+daniel+ellsberg+and+the+secret+history+of+the+vietnam+war>," is the 2016 winner of the YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults. The other Mock Printz honor winner was Challenger Deep<http://www.amazon.com/Challenger-Deep-Neal-Shusterman/dp/0061134112/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452619435&sr=8-1&keywords=challenger+deep+by+neal+shusterman> <http://www.amazon.com/Challenger-Deep-Neal-Shusterman/dp/0061134112/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452619435&sr=8-1&keywords=challenger+deep+by+neal+shusterman> by Neal Shusterman. Boy, do we have good taste!
A full report of the workshop will be in the OYAN Review later this month.
